This Policy explains how EbookEmpress handles personal information when you visit the website, create an account, generate an ebook, subscribe or contact us.
Information we collect
We process account identifiers and profile details supplied through Google sign-in, such as your email address, name and Google account identifier. We also store ebook ideas, selections, generated content, uploaded or generated assets, project history, credit transactions, subscription state, support communications and technical records such as IP address, device information, security events and service usage.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, provide and save ebook projects, perform generation, create downloads, process subscriptions, maintain credit and audit records, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, improve the service, comply with law and communicate about the account.
Service providers
Information may be processed by providers that help operate EbookEmpress, including Google for authentication, Stripe for payments and billing, OpenAI for configured text and image generation, hosting and storage providers, and Brevo for marketing-list management and email. Payment-card details are collected and handled by Stripe rather than stored directly by EbookEmpress.
Support messages and spam protection
When you use our contact form, we process your email address, subject and message to answer your request. Brevo delivers the message to our support inbox, and your email address is used as the reply address. The application retains delivery status and hashed email/IP identifiers for sending limits, not a separate copy of your message body. Old sending-limit records are removed during subsequent submissions after thirty days. Correspondence in the support inbox may be kept for follow-up, dispute resolution and legal obligations.
The production contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated abuse. Google processes the CAPTCHA response and technical information under its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. You can contact us directly by email instead. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers or other sensitive information through the form.
Cookies and browser storage
We use essential cookies for sign-in, session state, security and form protection. Browser storage may remember reader preferences and progress. Google sign-in and reCAPTCHA may use their own technologies when those features are used. We do not require advertising cookies to create a book.
Marketing email
When a new account is created, we may add the account email to our Brevo marketing list without a separate checkbox. This will only be used where the operator has documented an appropriate lawful basis and applicable rules permit it. Marketing messages will include an unsubscribe mechanism. Unsubscribing does not affect essential service or billing communications.
Legal bases and disclosure
Depending on your location, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and product operation, comply with legal obligations, and act on consent where required. We may disclose information to service providers, professional advisers, authorities when legally required, or as part of a legitimate business transfer. We do not sell payment-card information.
Retention and security
We retain saved projects and account information while needed to provide your account and service. After an account-closure or deletion request, we review which information can be removed and which must be kept for billing, fraud prevention, disputes, backups or legal obligations. Retention depends on the purpose, any applicable legal retention requirement and unresolved claims. You may ask us about retention or request deletion through the contact details below. We use access controls, private asset delivery, audit trails, request limits and other safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent and complain to a supervisory authority. Some records may need to be retained for billing, security or legal reasons.

Children and international processing
EbookEmpress is not directed to children. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to the contractual and legal safeguards applicable to those transfers.
